The Petitions Secretary records the source of each petition
upon receipt. Often, the source of a petition is a well known
organization of the church. In these cases the recorded source is the
acronym of the organization. A list
of acronyms is available. The sources are sorted in strict
alphabetical order. Select a letter below to see a list of all petition
sources that begin with that letter.

Non-Alphabetical
Please note: It can be
difficult to find a specific petition by its source if you don't already
know the exact source listing. The
sorting is done by computer according to the ASCII sequence of
characters. The sorted order is different from sorted lists of
petitions in previous quadrenia in the following ways: Lowercase
letters sort after uppercase letters. Last names are usually stored
first for individuals, but local church organizations don't always
follow a particular pattern. Sources which begin with punctuation (such
as a double quote) or numbers are listed in the "Non-Alphabetical"
section. Searching by Keyword may be a better option.
