The Committee recommends concurrence as amended as follows: As amended: Add modified text from p.1420

insert 2c (on petition 31441 page. 1100) "c. The UMC shall seek observer status in the Nat'l Assn. Of Evangelical. U.M. observers to these bodies shall be appointed by the Council of Bishops [INSERT} 3c. [on 31441 p 1100]

"c. The UMC shall seek observer status in the World Evangelical Fellowship. U.M. observers to these bodies shall be appointed by the Council of Bishops.
