The Committee recommends concurrence as amended as follows: strike the petition and replace with:

Whereas there is a need for a "seeker's link" on the official United Methodist website.

Therefore be it resolved that a new web page on the GBOD website, designed and monitored by GBOD, would provide spiritual guidance for those seeking knowledge of and a relationship with, or belief in Jesus Christ; that this guidance may include scriptural references, information concerning study guides and prayer resources, and a list of possible contacts (E-mail, phone, etc.) For seekers in their home area; and that this web page be directly linked to the official United Methodist Church website.
