¶ 618. Each annual conference shall determine what plan and method shall be used in distributing the apportionments to its several districts and charges for the Episcopal Fund (¶ 823), for the support of district superintendents and conference claimants, and for the Equitable Compensation Fund (¶ 622), whether by percentages based on the current cash base compensation paid to the ordained ministers serving pastoral charges under episcopal appointment and to local pastors or by some other method.⁶⁸
