 MICHAEL HOROWITZ --
Michael Horowitz, a director of the Religious Liberty Project for the Hudson Institute in
Washington, urged United Methodists to stand against global religious persecution by
opposing permanent trade with China. Horowitz said China is the primary funder of the
Sudan government which has killed some 2 million Christians. He spoke at a luncheon May 8
sponsored by the United Methodist Action Committee of the Institute for Religion and
